Have you ever thought that it is difficult to see God’s consistency from Old Testament to New Testament?

We invite you to come and meet The LORD. 

God’s personal name is used over 6500 times in the Old Testament. He interacts with people in personal ways. He comes down from heaven to see what they are doing. He talks to people and walks with them. He sees when they have done wrong and He meets them there. He promises and protects and provides. He also curses and destroys. He experiences anger, love, jealousy, and sadness. The LORD is personal and we invite you to come discover with us what He says about Himself.

What if I told you that the work you do from Monday - Saturday matters to God, in a personal and specific way? Despite the tendency to see it either as pointless monotony or self-fulfilling infatuation, it is not merely the cursed byproduct of sin. Rather, our work is part of His plan, a reflection of His very nature. What if I told you that God has given you unique strengths that he wants you to use expressly for His glory and the good of others? I am not even implying that you quit your job and go into ministry! The banker, the barista; the mechanic, the mom; the student, the retiree; the programmer, the program manager; the doctor, the dump truck driver: all work has kingdom value. 

Every Christian should be able to identify (with passion) how their work participates with God’s creativity and cultivation. Join us as we discover the biblical concept of vocational calling and practically answer these questions:

Why do we want to work (and need it to lead a fulfilled life)?

Why is work so hard?

How do we overcome the difficulties and find satisfaction in work, through the gospel

Join us after second service, upstairs in the Student Center (232) for Fieldworker Fellowship! We’ll have the opportunity to hear from some of our missionaries serving here in the states. Snacks provided!

Sharing the Gospel can sometimes seem scary or even impossible. Don't let fear or doubt stand in your way! Starting Wednesday, September 4th, we will begin our next session of Everyday Evangelism training. In this class we will learn a true “Hands On” approach to confidently and easily share your faith with others.​

A Safe Place For Couples to Reconnect

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. At this 13-week group, you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind.

International Community Outreach (icotulsa.org) one of FBC's long-supported local ministries will be hosting a new volunteer training at FBC on Sunday, June 23rd from 12:30-2:30pm. The training will be held in rm 207 with lunch will be provided!

Join us starting Sunday, May 19th at 9am in room 201 for "Foundations."

This 8-session study will be led by Mark Steiner and focus on the essential pillars of growth in worship, fellowship, Bible reading, and sharing your faith. Whether you're a new or seasoned believer, this class will provide invaluable insights to create a strong foundation and grow in your faith.

• Hands: You'll gain practical tools to actively serve others and participate in the work God has prepared for you (Eph 2:10).

This class will equip you to:

• Develop a strong biblical foundation: Learn how to interpret and apply scripture to your everyday life.

• Grow in your love for God: Explore practices like prayer, worship, and reflection to deepen your relationship with Christ.

• Discover your ministry: Become an active servant in your church and community.

• Maintain an eternal perspective: Live with purpose, knowing your actions have eternal impact.
